The Town of Oyster Bay is a town in Nassau County, New York, it is the easternmost of the three towns which make up Nassau County, New York. Part of the New York metropolitan area, it is the only town in Nassau County to extend from the North Shore to the South Shore of Long Island. The town of Oyster Bay comprises 18 villages and hamlets. The town has an area of 169.5 square miles (439 km2), 104.4 square miles (270 km2) of which is land and 65.1 square miles, or 38% water. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 301,332.
